Not when they look like a pair of cut down golf slacks

125 for a set of baggies? No. I'd be reluctant to spend that on bib shorts too. Law of diminishing returns in full effect

Paid similar for a pair of norrona baggies.

5 year warranty

Wore them for a year long cycle tour to Bangkok. Not a stitch out of place, little fading but that's it.

Im sure 3 pairs of 40 quid shorts would last for the same amount of time.

Yes I'd buy shorts at that much, only these if the warranty exists.

I did buy a pair, they didn't fit, the fly is comically short, took them back and replaced them with their flexair shorts, way better fit and cheaper.

I bought the Attack Ultra on discount from CRC at £30-odd a couple of months ago.

Same experience as Sir HC - terrible fit and sent them back.

So it's a no from me.

I paid that for some Assos F.I.13s 15 years ago. Still wear them.

I'd certainly pay that for something that fits properly and is actually shorts. Everything available seems to be below the knee right now and designed not to fit quite right. As Sir HC said, the fly is too short but also usually the legs are too skinny for anyone with proper leg muscles and if you cover your bum the crotch destroys your knackers.

Yes, I'm probably just getting old. No, I don't think it's a bad thing to have shorts that cover my arse and my underwear. I'm also capable of wearing suitable underwear to stop my man parts dangling out of the leg holes (literally the only reason shorter shorts died off in the first place - the appearance of loose boxer shorts).

I've got a pair of these sailing shorts (in the platinum)

Love them and am seriously considering a second pair
