Hello,

i have a pike, and 2 rebas, that needs a rebuild, could this be used?

Why not get in touch to TF Tuned or Loco Tuning. Im sure the above could be used, but should they?
Are you prepared to wreck your forks for the same of some o-rings?

Thats a bit over dramatic.

There is nothing special about the majority of fork seals - they're pretty much stock industrial parts. The trick is to get the right size and correct materials.

Of course if you don't have time and inclination, you'll pay through the nose for the made up kit supplied aftermarket.

Get the wrong size and it'll either be too baggy and probably tear, too tight and it wont seal effectively. Either way they'll let the cr@p in and either degrade the forks lubrication, or grind away at the anodising.

Im sorry if it seemed over dramtic, but why spend all that money on an expensive fork if you're going to skimp on the servicing? Im not saying get them professionally serviced, unless you're getting them tuned, but i'd rather spend a few extra £££ on the right parts for the job, not some bodged bit that might work or fail.
