damage them as i have just got some lyris and they are 160 u-turns so i will have to turn them down to 150 as the frame i have is a mmmbop which is ment to have only 150mm of travel? so will haveing them turned down cause them to wear faster? spring to brake etc etc

No I think they are designed for this sort of tuning

If only everyone else on this site were like that then we might make some progress on here ๐Ÿ˜‰

And Lyriks will be fine wound down all the time- when I stick mine on my hardtail I set them to 140. All it does is move the spring up and down in a chamber.
