Now I realise I've been slacking of late with injury, a very poorly Mum and some plain old fashioned can't be arsedness but I've got a new bike and I'm going to ride it with or without you misfits.
I don't do responsibility at the minute so has someone more organised than me got any suggestions....
Or have I just been missed off the email??
No Harry's away.
I've loop from the jolly crofters in mind for one night but again I'm easy
I don't think I've ridden from there Duncan so I'd be up for that. The ride gaze suggested last week is a good un too.
You are going to have to look after yourselves until September I'm afraid.

Going to miss this outing, but will be back all refreshed the Monday after. Enjoy
I'm getting married next weekend, not sure it's a grand idea for me to be out on my mountain bike at all
I'm on holiday again. Back on the 22nd. If anyone fancies a ride from the White House then I'd be happy to lead one. Got an idea for a new route involving Mordor.
I'm away from next weekend. not sure when we'll be back just yet but possibly not for a couple of weeks.
Soooooo
Any confirmation?
And also bit premptive where for the August bank holiday. Maybe Dazh n Chipps could lead a stoooooodly massive?
On a completely different subject. Daz, what size of Solaris have you got?
I've got a large one Steve, if you want to chuck your leg over it....
Oo'er Matron...
Rivvy then?
Got some nice routes planned?
if work allows, i'm likely to be in for rivvy Dunc. Baz too, from what we said today...
Cheers Russ. I'll take you up on that.
Is St Peters Way still shut overnight?
Think so.

Is St Peters Way still shut overnight?

nice evening out, thanks for the company!
I enjoyed that. I've ridden plenty at Rivi but Strava says that I've never done 90% of what we did tonight.
What was the state of the trail just north of Rivington road ? Usually a bog fest when I've done it, if it's the one I'm thinking of
The one from the top of the recently laid slab climb?
Yep. Very boggy.
If you find a High Five bottle in that bog/sheep shit mire, it's mine - but you can keep it.
its a sensitive [foot]pah and best avoided unless very dry or very frozen as damage is done, it's not much fun and there are better options available
To be fair Junkyard it was all pretty/very dry until that point and its boggyness caught us all out - but as you say there are other options.
the way you went is definitely the worst way....you fools ๐
Not having a dig I dont obey the real rules and folk do as they please
I have only done that route as a climb up. Its not any better ๐
I was just aiming for stuff people don't normally ride rather than the usual rivy trails
So there is another route from Rivington Road up to Great Hill ? Never knew it.
If anyone can show it on a map or Strava then that would be useful.
My only successful attempt at ascending Great Hill has been from Brinscal, and half of it is a road, the other half an easy bridleway(but with exceptional views over the moorland).
If you cross rivvy to Belmont n look left you will see the paths
Unless its on strava / gpx it doesn't mean much to me
Add me on strava n look at my routes
