Hi,
Broke the old deore xt lever on my bike yesterday (circa 2008 at a guess) - was thinking of just getting a new slx or xt lever and connecting back up for about £20 odd quid. Then I saw deals for the slx with calipers, pads and pipes for £45. I have old deore xt m-765 like this on the bike http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-xt-m765-disc-brake-caliper-ex-display/rp-prod114191
Will I notice a difference in the slx modern jobbies or just get the levers? Its almost too tempting to turn the deal down......
