The paint's flaked away around the BB weld on an Alu frame I have - is it worth trying to repaint or protect it in some way that lasts?
This is not something I've ever been arsed about, but recently I had a commuter fork corrode really badly around the wheel arch after the paint flaked away, had to bin it. So maybe worth doing something?

It's unlikely to corrode anything like a fork, might have got salt around the fork, and flaked paint let's water sit.
Easy enough to prime it and paint but it'll get scratched again.
