It'll polish out. 😉
Thats one to be proud of! 😉
oops...
😯 Blimey. Bad luck...thats a hell of a ding.
MMmmm.... i was cycling down the gully back across to lydeard hill, chased after the chap infront and kicked up a rock into what i thought was the fork/wheel. But obviously not! only 6 weeks old.... gutted!
Need to get some white paint tho as i've got loooads of chips to tidy up.
Hope it hasn;t started a crack
I'll give you £5 for it as it is now scrap 😀
Seriously though, as annoying as it is that is still rideable and will probably go for another few years yet.
Hmmmm - I wonder if you could pull that dent out...
Ahhh its still going to get a good pasting! Its gotta race Roc D'azur yet!
It'll be fine for a long time, only a ding.... think i'll drop it in for its 6 week service this week and see what they say! haha
Ill just keep a close eye on the bugger for cracks!
Just gutted it cost me £1500 only a few weeks ago!
thwack!
Mmmmmm ooops!
Dam.
I wonder if Argos racing cycles could fix it?
A bit of car filler will do the job 😉
I doubt anyone can... cant see how it can be got out!
lower end of the downtube?
i have two frames dented like that, and three frames wearing a bit of tyre down there as a preventative!
just keep an eye on it for cracks
It must be catching, I've got one in the side of my 46, courtesy of my no-longer-favoured lbs
bloody hell, bet your glad the rock/boulder did not hit yer leg
Oooo tyre idea is good in the future!
Didnt even think about my leg andy! ooops
Any tips on what paint to use to cover it all up?
'ammerite. In red. Or yellow.
And in crackle effect yes?
Fill it with water and put it in the freezer. As the water freezes, it'll expand and push the dent out. Apparently. 😉
Did a similar thing to my Handjob in Spain last year.
It's probably saved me money in the long run as it means nobody would pay much for the frame so I have to keep it.
So should i chop that bit out before i put it in the freezer then? 😉
I have an old inner tube doubled up covering my 456 down tube !
Shouldnt be a problem as long as you keep an eye on it. I have a ding in the same place on my Scandal its been there nearly a year I just forget about it and ride the bike
Nah, just use a walk-in freezer. 🙂
