MMmmm.... i was cycling down the gully back across to lydeard hill, chased after the chap infront and kicked up a rock into what i thought was the fork/wheel. But obviously not! only 6 weeks old.... gutted!
Need to get some white paint tho as i've got loooads of chips to tidy up.

i have two frames dented like that, and three frames wearing a bit of tyre down there as a preventative!

Fill it with water and put it in the freezer. As the water freezes, it'll expand and push the dent out. Apparently. 😉
Did a similar thing to my Handjob in Spain last year.
It's probably saved me money in the long run as it means nobody would pay much for the frame so I have to keep it.
So should i chop that bit out before i put it in the freezer then? 😉
I have an old inner tube doubled up covering my 456 down tube !
Shouldnt be a problem as long as you keep an eye on it. I have a ding in the same place on my Scandal its been there nearly a year I just forget about it and ride the bike
Nah, just use a walk-in freezer. 🙂

My Enduro - doesn't worry me with the square tubing though - and anodised seems to take the hits better than paint too.
