Any recommendations for a womens specific road bike that will take proper mudguards?

Most Treks have vanishing mudguard mounts (they are very neat) Mrs PPs Madone 3.1 WSD certainly has them, as does my 2.3, and I suspect the Lexa range does as well. I can check tomorrow if you like?

That would be grand. The main issue is often clearance.

Very true. We've got a Lexa in the shop I'll check it out and have a look at the specs of the others too. Apparently there are guards that fit them.
