Spesh or Trek I reckon.
the giants/felts are pretty nice...she'll only need a womens specific one if shes small...as a gents frame will usually do if not
I'd say she's about 5'3 ish. She wants it to do a few triathlons plus training on it too.
Geometry isn't gender specific according to Cervelo...
How much does she want to spend, what does she want to do with it, what is her height (and relative bodily poroportions)?
Otherwise its just a case of saying - ooh, ooh, that pink one.
Triathlon, training AND racing you said? What distance Tri? Has she ever done a triathlon before? Has she ever ridden a bike before? What's her budget?
Oh...and failing all else...Specialized Allez in a size that fits her. It's a good enough place to start.
i get on very well with my specialized dolce, though its 5 year old now, so not sure what the current one is like.
im 5ft 4 on a good day and the nice thing with specialized (51cm frame)is 700cc wheels, other makes i tried were 650cc to get the frame size right. I like the independant extra brake levers on the handlebars.
boardman do a good range of ladies bikes if your budget permits.
