Looking for a bike for 11 year old daughter. She rides her sisters 15" Spec Myka fine (it's a bit big but has v low stand-over) so that is an obvious choice

Other I have seen is Focus Northern Light on Wiggle (£650 reduced to £400 at moment - can't remember its name)but these seem to be generally bigger than the Spec.

budget £400 ish

Any other recommendations / thoughts?

cheers all

I recently got a S/H 13.5" Myka off the classifieds for my girlfriend, what a bike!
Everything is so well thought out (28spoke f wheel and 140 rr disc for example) and she absolutely loves it. Swap the fastraks for tyres with grip and it will go almost anywhere and the seriously swoopy top tube made some previous techy sections rideable. They look lovely too.

I'd have to agree that Specialized have it nailed when it comes to female specific bikes. The use of narrower bars, different saddles, shorter cranks all adds up to a much better bike for smaller ladies. My ex had a small merlin which she liked, but she changed it for a specialized and it was so much better sized for her.
