Evening all! I'm moving to the area this week as i'm starting a new job and I wondered where's good locally to go riding? I'm currently based in the notts area so I'm used to peak district type stuff so any info is appreciated!
nothing 'Peak District' like but if you like miles of twisty loamy singletrack with more gradients than northerners would have you believe check out Swinley Forest as starters, then hook up with BOBMBC or Tunnel Hill Trolls or MTB Britain and they'll start to show you how much else there is besides Swinley.
There was an article in STW paper version a few months back will also give you some pointers.

Hop over the Thames and the Chilterns offer plenty of nice riding.
