As some of you are aware i'm moving down south (this weekend) and hopefully I shall have some free time on sunday to get out for a wee ride somewhere.

I'm living in north london so looking for somewhere not too far away to ride, that is just a bit of downhill or singletrack fun. Aston hill, woburn, chicksands etc..

Suggestions, invitations welcome. Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

Aston Hill have got some DH racing going on this weekend, I think. Not sure what impact that'll have if you just fancy turning up and doing some riding of your own...

I can vouch for Woburn as I went there last Saturday and had a great time. If it wasn't a 180 mile round trip I'd go again this weekend.

Woburns my local patch, but I've got a road race this weekend.

Where abouts in North London are you? one of my riding mates works down there.

Chicksand fun, not been to Woburn I'm going next weekend. Aston good but shut for racing on Sunday.

Just saw that front page article about Aston having a race this sunday, shame that but I can maybe try it out the weekend after instead, I guess Woburn or Chicksands it is unless there is anywhere else nearby.

What type of riding are you after? There's plenty of places to muck about nearer to North London but not a good as those already mentioned really. Swinley forest is fun but a bog at the moment by all accounts. I've never been to Epping forest anyone got view on that?

Not been out over Epping for three weeks. Was muddy but just about bearable then. Way better than Broxbourne is now.

Woburn or Chicksands probably both a safer bet due to their sandy soil anyway.

I might be up for Woburn on Sunday. Only ridden there once and it looked promising.

Road race full, so I'll be over in Woburn Sunday if any xc types want showing around.

We are normally around the top of the hill near the Church in Bow Brickhill at Woburn about 09:00 every Sunday and happy to show anyone around. Email is in profile if you wanted contact details.
