[#2474653]

A bunch of my mates are heading to Woburn on Sunday.
I ride mainly XC but I'd like to play on some small jumps.
So: are there beginners' jumps where I won't get in the way?
And what's the best singletrack loop? Will I be able to find it with a tracklog?

In the "main" jumps area they're all pretty big doubles. If you head over to the downhill runs there are some runs with rollable jumps. There's one with a tabletop which is fun. Oh and the "Hip Line" run is very good ๐Ÿ™‚

Mmm. Found a few videos of the Hip Line. Looks fun. But I imagine it doesn't look quite so easy when you're there.

Be prepared to buy a day permit.
As for xc, there's loads, but you'll need s guide or hook up with someone.

Just watched the vids on youtube, those guys are fast! I don't do it nearly as fast but it's all doable if you're ok with drops - you can pretty much roll the jumps, even the hip bit.

Lots of talk coming from the rangers about a vast new area to be developed for biking near Woburn.
And also a trail we cut with permission ten years ago has been 'tidied' up and courses are being advertised for training on it by a part of the local councils cycling development team.
What are you hearing?
