I do all my own work on my road race bike
After crashing my bike this year.....I decided to change all the wheel bearings on my 2 year old wheels.....it didn't need it done ....but I was bored and I fancied putting ceramic bearings in
So I changed the bearings easy enough on my carbon wheels without any problems
Now I'm fit enough to ride ...I took the bike out for a test ride....and I notice the rear wheel don't seem right
It wobbles from side to side....not a lot ..but enought to annoy me
I took the wheel off to tighten up anything loose ...but everything is real tight
Anyone???
Spacer missing?
You mean its out of true?
Mmm could be a spacer?????....I need to check now
But then thinking about it...it's the actual spindle that can wobble ...so I'm not sure a washer .....I'll double check tommorrow tho
The wheel is true ....as I had it done after I crashed..... It was only out by a whisker ,as the LBS only charged me £10
