Yes often read parts of it and increasingly find people quoting it in meetings and at conferences.

The book has such a nice clarity from high level overview that it makes a very compelling argument for the conclusions. And it's available free online.

David mackay obviously has quite some influence now as chief scientific advisor at DECC.

I like the way it simplifies our energy needs and the numbers so that the science is given in bitesized chunks. I also like how the book is broken down into the basic and then the more technical. Pretty good for free, slightly ironic that you can read it online. Yeah impressed so far.
