a hours ride this morning, a shower, a toastie and into my local to perch by a log fire, eating excess yorkies and roasties from the kitchen with a pot of gravy from the Sunday lunches to dump them in.

7am - 2.5 hour forest slip and slide with mates falling off, 5K run to local for an ice cold Old Rosie, get caught there by Mrs Wally. Fire on , film and nap. Now 4 hours of marking to do.

Santa Claus: The Movie, Back to the future III, The Incredibles, The Martian.
30 moist miles on the rigid people pleaser, slip-sliding around the common and falling off in banks of wet leaves. Still some surprisingly fast running trails though. Afternoon of crafting with the girls (1 & 5) and just now poured myself a glass of vino. Nice.
1/2 Hour into my ride forgot my waterproof short and boot covers within 45 mins back home with a soggy bum wasted opp.
A weekend in the Hoy Velodrome doing track coaching course. Lovely and warm and dry 😜
Windsurfing, coffee, windsurfing, coffee, peal wetsuit off, watch kids run around like loonies, chips and beans for lunch, crashed on the sofa since 3, I am Number 4 (on sci-fi) maybe The Martian later.. whiskey.. more whiskey.
Pub, burgers, beer, footy on TV.
Wishing it was dry so I could ride my new KTM!
60km, 2000' climbing, 3°C, rain and a gale. South Germany reminded me of Yorkshire
Lovely lunch with friends followed by under the weather offspring, Star Wars Attack of the Clones on blu-ray and some nice spicy beef concoction with pasta for tea. Not bad considering no bikes or boats involved.
Plotting bashing a big hole in the wall between kitchen and dining room and a refit now...and wondering about how much that might cost. 😬
2 laps of Bedgebury on my new fatbike (how they stared) - quick snooze on the sofa and now Old Perculier and the latest Trent Palmer you tube to catch up on..
20 mile round trip to our "local" for a couple of pints of their ciderhouse special.
An afternoon of wins for all then.
Collected and put up Christmas tree, swapped Chronicles for Shorty’s on the singlespeed and a couple of laps of Lady Cannings in the rain and dark followed by shepherds pie, wine and log fire. Winner.
Dark start and 90 km of hill reps followed by lunch at a pub in Oxford with old friends. Better weather than yesterday’s ride.
