I am finding that Fenwick's Stealth Road, which is great in summer isn't the best this time of year. The MTB gets MucOff C3 Ceramic in the wet and Squirt in the dry.

So what's best on road bike this time of year ? C3 or something else ?

i'm using the C3 and to be fair can't really fault it. Doing over 200 a week and it doesn't need applying every day, i clean the bike once a week and relube then, if i wasn't cleaning the bike it would probably last longer, even with the rain and flood water i have ridden it through.

Pro-link(I think)chain lube, on everything, wet and dry conditions, best I have tried.

I use White lightening epic ride (green label) and wet conditions ( purple one).

Finish Line Ceramic dry in the majority of weather. Crap conditions and Finish Line Ceramic wet, which works great. No chain noise , even in the grittiest of rides off road and on.

I picked up some pro link extreme which was a good price in Halfords. It gets good reviews so keen to see how it performs vs the Muc off c3

Putoline wax (the melting one in a tin, not the aerosol) on the commuter re- do less than once a month, muck-off C3 wet on the road bike so it at least looks clean.

Minor PSA - the Finish Line Ceramics are £6.50 for 120ml at Evans at the mo. Seems like a decent price, I've ordered a dry and wet option to keep me going for a while!
