Hi
Does anyone have any advice on the best areas to do a guided winter MTB week? I've done a week with Switchbacks in Spain before, and the White Room in the French Alps but was looking to do something hopefully a bit cheaper in October this year.

Canaries, Portugal, Corsica? Can anyone recommend a decent place/company - looking for something not too tame (and not too cold!)

Thanks

We've just come back from a week in Madeira with Freeride Madeira and can totally recommend it. Amazing scenery, cracking riding and surprisingly cheap, especially given the current exchange rate.

OK thanks both, I'll check out your recommendations! Tenerife was on my list but hadn't actually thought of Madeira.... cheers

Based right on the beach with plenty of Winter sun to enjoy.
Stunning singletrack rides with plenty of bus uplift during the day & fun après-bike on the coast at night.
Just 510 Euros for a packed week!

Spent a week last November with Basque mtb on their Pyrenees back country tour. Absolutely superb riding, guiding and accommodation. Whole heartedly recommend them and hope to return one day.

Lots to choose from it seems! I'd be keen on the Basque week I think and the Sierra sounds a good price. I'll do some more research on both. Thanks 🙂
