Not looking to spend a fortune, but i don't know where to start when looking at winter gloves. All i know is they need to water proof and keep my hands as warm as poss, ideas or suggestions of gloves purchased would help, thanks.

lilly whites do No Fear snowboarding /ski gloves for 8 quid with a fleece liner they work well.

Goretex so that means Gore Bike Wear. Not cheap but they do work.

I recently bought Gore Tool IV ones - very pleased with them - soft, good feel, toasty. Not bad price on Wiggle with discounts

JeJames have a deal on Polar gloves at the moment. It just popped up on their Facebook stream a couple of hours ago.

you want a waterproof membrane and a thermal lining. Like the Alturas I'm selling in classifieds ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜†

Lobster type gloves are amazingly warm-not tried the sealskins but my specialized ones are TOO warm and dont get used in the UK (needs to be below -10C or my hands sweat!) plus the loss of dexterity/control is an issue for some. If you suffer from cold hands/poor circulation they might be a good bet.
