Hi,

I love my Nike Windstopper Bib Tights but unfortunately they are about to give up the ghost. I don't believe Nike do them any more so I am looking for an alternative. What I like about the Nike's is that they have a waterproof/resistant panel on the front preventing you getting too wet when riding through puddles. I haven't been able to find any alternatives that specifically mention this so am asking forum members for their advice/opinion. Any recommendations for bib tights ideally with an element of water resistance?
Cheers

Marcus

Also heard good things about DHB gear. Nobody knows what the quality is like yet, but Aldi are bringing out their new 'pro' range of cycling tights soon so they could be worth a look for their bib tights if you've got one local.

The Endura Equipe bibtights have waterproof panels covering shin/knee and arse to provide that sort of protection.

Someone off here recommended Planet X winter bibs, I bought a pair for dirty CX hacking and they've been ace and are currently in the washing machine.

The Gore Oxygen Windstopper are very good, but not cheap.
Very warm, very comfy & bombproof.

The ones without a pad are good, can be worn for a week, just keep changing shorts.

😀

I'm new to both bibbed shorts and leggings type shorts so will follow this with interest.

I may try the Aldi ones but these look equally good albeit a few ££ more Funkier Winter Bib thingies

I have some old Lusso Roubaix bibs, which have been stitched numerous time where I've torn them in falls; they are amazingly good and still going strong.

Lusso roubaix also excellent, especially the ones with the hydrophobic coating.
