How much do you want to spend? Assos do some excellent winter bibs but they cost as much as a bike. 😉 I've been using the Pearl Isumi abfib tights for the last few years and really rate them, though you'll boil alive in them if the temperature is over 10 degrees.

I have some older Scott ones with a mix of softshell and warm roubaix panels - in the wet my shins and bum stay drier for a lot longer, and more windproof.
They fit better than by Altura ones as well - I hardly ever use the alturas in fact.

Rapha bibs are good - really nice pad too. Best in the sale after Christmas.

Pearl Izumi amfibs here, really good, one really good feature is at the foot for going over your boot

DHB Roubaix

They are the updated version of the Vaeon Roubaix which was applauded by many. Great bibs, good price.

Decathlon, 520 or 700, the membrane ones are super warm.

I have an old pair from Endura - thermolite, they are really warm and I only wear them on the frostiest of days. In fact I am looking at less warm ones as I need something for months other than Jan or Feb (last couple of years I've hardly worn them even in those months as other thsn early in the morning it hasn't been cold enough)

I've always liked mavic inferno bibs. Buy a bunch from crc or wiggle ,try them on and free returns for anything you don't like. Fit is the key to comfort and the forum can't help with that.

I like the howies longs too , but they are not thermal fabric, avoid the aldi ones - the pad turns to a nappy in wet weather.

I have a Rapha pair which are good. No better than my Planet X 365 ones though, so for £30 ish I know where I'd be heading.
