Anyone any experience of ordering from Winstanleys when something isn't in stock?

I've ordered some Troy Lee KG5450's with an expected delivery date in Dec, but have a feeling that they are likely to fall through.

Trying to save myself a tenner but not sure its worth it.

Hope hoops..................took ages!!!!! Then they continually messed up the axle converter, I even gave them the part numbers from the Hope site...... they still got it wrong. Sat looking at a complete (less axle adapters) new bike that was un-ridable for 3 weeks. Then gave up and got my LBS to order in special, 2 days later and I was out on it. Personally, It'd have to be deal of the century for me to use them again.

I waited three months for a rear wheel to complete a Hope Hoops wheelset - and that was ordered when the website said it was in stock!

I ordered a pair of Schwalbe CX tyres from them. Turned out they only actually had one in stock, but rather than tell me this and ask whether I wanted to cancel the order, they sent me the one they had, then spent the next two months failing to get hold of a second one. By this time I was fed up of waiting so cancelled the outstanding order and bought one from CRC instead (which is probably where I should have gone in the first place! ๐Ÿ™„ ).

Have just bought a Montane jacket that had to be returned for next size up, all went smoothly and ordered a CK 15mm adaptor yesterday that has been dispatched today - can't argue with that (all good prices as well)
