Thanks ton (I know you like the Wingnut)

That link was the ONLY one I could find, and is only available in black

I wouldn't mind a different colour

Thin on the ground it seems

They are being made again. Maybe go direct? Or speak to Max at Roughride?

FWIW I love mine.

fragile ime. zips, and the belt that takes the weight, in particular.

Bought mine second hand from the stw classifieds and wore it everyday on the Tour Divide for 18 hrs a day containing 2-4 litres of water, food and a jacket under the elastic. Nothing ripped, fell off or split.

Have to agree. Great packs, poor zips. After 3 wingnuts of different vintages with different manufacturers, they've all failed at the zips and wingnut won't supply spare zips.

I've switched to evoc. They feel like a much better quality pack.

The zip on mine failed after about 3 years of abuse. Tisos repair service put a new one in and it's good as new.

Wouldn't use anything else now.

How much was your new zip? The usual rucksack people want £40 per zip plus postage both ways and my Hyper 3.0 needs two zips doing. At the price, moving to a different pack was a no brainer.

I had a hyper 2.
Great idea, but poorly executed imo. Fragile fabric, zips, and seams.

I loved the lumbar idea, and have just got the camel back skyline. Lovely bit of kit, well made, plenty of in and on pack storage.

Those not so impressed with the wing nut would do well to try one of those!

Love my wingnut 3 too, two years into ownership and I'm not about to jinx it......needless to say it's all in one piece as it should be.
Got mine in black from Roughrides only other suppliers back then seemed to be from USA.
