I'm off on hol tonight with my bike, I've forgot to get spare pads.
I have xt br 775 brakes which I need the pads for, my other bike has the slx m660 brakes, the pads look simlar but my bike is packed away. Can I just borrow the pads from the slx brakes?
Are you saying its the new xt brakes and slx brakes?
If so yip, all pads are the same. Just slx hace split pin where xt have alan key bolt
If they are the same size I see no reason why not, but I'm sure some more experts will be along shortly...
i *think* the pads are the same - ive got slx brakes and the brake pad box says XT on it.
yeah the pads are the same from deore to xtr on the new style brakes.

They are not all the same however they are the same shape and can be swapped between brakes. Current XTR pads are Ti backed where as Deore are steel.
