Current set up ....
Scandal 29er with Cromoto fork 468mm AtoC IIRC
Proposed set up ....
Same frame with a ridgid carbon fork 490mm AtoC
What are people's thoughts?

stick a bigger tyre (inflated to the same pressure as you'd usually run your regular front tyre) on the front and see for yourself.

I have a scandal 26er that I ran with a 470 rigid fork and 29er wheel in it - seemed fine to me
