Does anyone local To Nant yr Arian kno if the trails will be open by christmas? Its been my Christmas eve and boxing day ride for a fair few years now! Christmas won't be the same without it!

No they are plan to re-open at the end of the Month earliest.
You can still access some of the trails from the carpark at Pendam lake, but the first and last 2 sections of trail and access to the loops is out of bounds.
