Looking for a 24'' bike for my youngest and I really like the look of the Chartres in Halfords but can't find any review (other than on Halfords website). Have any junior STWers got any thoughts?
I really like the Islabikes and we have had many but the Wiggins with BC discount is almost half the price of a new Beinn 24.
Sorry can't help...so in the style of STW recommend what you have.....Have you looked at Frog bikes? We looked at Wiggins bikes but the Frog bike seemed nicer and Wookster JR loved the Frog? ( Team Sky colours may have swung it him being 8 and all!!) it's a lovely little bike and is really light which make a huge difference to him.

we have a frog for the boy (not the sky colours though), after years of Isla. Very good (once a couple of quality control issues were sorted). He loves it and the fact it comes with two sets of tyres is a bonus for me!
