Hi.
I'am thinking of ordering a Whyte t130 rs 2016. Can see there is alot of t130 s and works oweners on this forum:)
How does it climb compered to a hardtail? Does it feel light to ride?
I meen it is 13.3 kg(with pedals more). That 1.3 kg more then my hardtail i have atm.
Is it "easy" to bunny hop it? Or do you feel the weight of the bike.

I am looking for a bike to jump, bunny hop, do bigger drops, fast and steep decends, climb some tec stof, ride for 2-3-4 hours, a do it all bike. And most impotentet, it has to be fun as hell to ride:)
I am also concedering a Orange Crush(so not a fully) but i am really having trouble what to decide. So please give some advice:)

Where abouts do you ride?

Im also looking at this one with interest.

Id like a sc 5010 but cant really justify £5k for one.

Im not that fussed about weight, well as long as its under 30lbs. The whyte gets good reviews and has some good components on it.

MrsbeanZ has one stood in our front room we picked up today , won't get ridden till the weekend but she really enjoyed the demo 2015 works she had for a weekend before placing the order on the RS .

My 2015 T-130 Works is great and is a bit lighter than the RS at 13KG, it rides really well with a light poppy feel. It does everything well IMHO the only thing I think might be an issue is very big drops (6ft +) but I don't really do them so not really sure if it'll handle them OK?

I'm running a 32T oval front ring and it's fine i got up nearly everything I wanted to in mid-Wlaes in June and the only stuff I didn't manage neither did my buddies on their HTs which are ~2KG lighter so I think it climbs well.

HTH

Just did the bathroom scales weigh in - a touch over 30lbs with nano tech pedals , tubeless ,carbon bars with esi grips . Not too bad for a 130mm trial bike .

Test rode a T129 recently and really liked it; the spec for the money is awesome, as is their lifetime bearing warranty. Only issue (not sure if it's just a T129 thing) is the rear tyre mud clearance is non existant! 2.2 at an absolute max but it would need to be a slick! Something to consider for Uk riding in the 4-season mud 🙂

Anyone know whats the rear triangle like, any flex etc. I see there isn't a bar/link between the chainstay and the seatstay, as there is on my blur?

STIFF!

That's in capitals for a reason!

Doing away with the front mech meant they could redesign the rear triangle to be stiffer, and its made a significant difference.

Awesome bikes, highly deserve the reviews they get...

I know it's been a while from your post here but maybe it's even better.
I am thinking about geting T-130 for myself and what you wrote about your riding preferences is exactly what I expect from the bike too.
Did you buy T-130? If so, what are your feelings about it? How about bunny hop, manual etc?
Any info will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Thanks!
