Hi all,

I currently have a T-130 which I absolutely love however as I do more enduro races I am looking to get a longer travel bike. I am currently torn between the G170 or the S150 C RS models. I was originally considering the G170 as I am relatively short and keeping my T130 for more cross country/trail centre riding but I am now wondering whether the S150 might be more of a compromise between the two and selling the T-130?

any owners of either would like to explain their thought processes behind which model they bought?

Cheers

Si

I originally wanted an s150 but in the end went for a G160 works as it was a stonking deal (nearly 2k off) and tbh I was a bit worried it would be ‘too much bike’ but it is fabulous - if I hadn’t just bought, ahem, another bike I would deffo be in the market for a G170, which I think was tweaked to make it slightly shorter?  There should also be some great deals around pretty soon - already seen a couple with £1k off list...

If you can afford it I'd have two bikes for the different disciplines rather than one bike for everything that felt compromised all the time.

Got an s150 c-rs. It’s done me well on an uplift day at Innerleithen, saw me round Strathpuffer and generally been great on all trails I’ve ridden including torridon. Don’t think I need more bike than it, and it Is still pretty efficient for xc type stuff. I’m hardly a gnartastic rider though.
