So, nearly 2k for the frame not cheap but seems to tick all the boxes for me. Any words of wisdom from owners/former owners???

For that kind of money I'd personally be looking at a full custom Ti frame from someone like Strong Frames or Eriksen. I'm sure the Whyte is very nice, but it's an awful lot of money for an off-the-shelf hardtail frame when for similar money you could have something truly special.
