[Closed] Whyte 19 2011 seatpost clamp size?????

I thought all the Whytes had their special seat post collar - worth checking!

No they don't, apparently. The one that came with my 19 Steel is somewhat very basic, has no size on it , can't find on website either.

Check the front mech size and look to see if there is any reinforcement around the seatpost clamp.

Typically steel frames used 28.6mm front mechs and seatclamps, but Whyte may have beefed the collar for durability.

Superstar do seatpost clamps in the 3 front mech sizes of 28.6 31.8 and 34.9mm.

Couldn't you just measure it?

Contacted ATB Sales and they confirmed it is 30.0mm, so bought a clamp that size, guess what wrooooong!!!.

So as suggested above took off front mech and it is 28.6mm . 🙄
