One of the little pleasures I find with tubeless is, after switching tyres, checking the one I've just taken off for thorns (it couterbalances the occasional faff in mounting new tyres...)

Last week I found 11 different thorns in one tyre, I guess from all the tree debris brought down by the recent high winds. One of which was this badboy... which measured a good two inches in length.

This is also a good example of why people think that 'popping a tube in' to a tubeless puncture is not a very reliable solution when out on the trail.
