Looking at who's entered and at the results from last year it seems Margam Madness is pretty small. Is there a reason for this? Is it too hard, too far, over Easter, not great or just small?
Thinking of doing it but wondering.
I didn't know there was an event on, but in general Margam is awesome but pack your climbing legs. Brutal course. However I really enjoy it despite being a shit climber 🙂
Ive signed up for the 8hr and did the 4hr last sept. The course is great but hard for a XC race. Quite alot of hard climbs and technical downs (which imho is what a MTB race is about).
Although ive signed up for 8hr i dont think ive got the legs for it atm and will probably do the 4hr solo instead.
Looking forward to a nice sunny welsh race....

Thanks. Was going to do the 8hr but thinking at 450m per lap the 4hr is a safer bet.
