[#2544318]

It would help if members put their locations in their profiles and whilst I'm on the subject, email addresses as well!

Just getting old and grumpy!

Regards.

It would be useful to know if I was buying something off you guys.I'm not saying give your addresses, but it would be good to know Northern UK or Southern UK or even Counties!

It could get confusing.

Some people still pay for goods with that old fashioned stuff called cash, not e transfers, paypal etc and would like to collect the purchases, but probably not even offer if the seller lived 200 miles away!

Stops me getting too close to the twin Awsome fields of TSY and Philconsequences. We would achieve critical mass and that would be the end of days!

tk46hal is dead right. I'd never send hundreds of pounds to someone I don't know for a major purchase of the classifieds. Having a rough location speeds things up a bit, If a frame or bike is miles away I just wont be interested. Just edited my profile to that effect.

Where are "Counties" if they're in neither the Northern or Southern UK?

Knowing somebody's location can be handy, only last week I could have arranged to drop somebody a part whilst passing within a mile of his house, instead of him having to wait two days for it to arrive by post.

TK, you would have been dissapointed with Arch if you can get away with crest. you can feel the difference in weight. Nice one.
