Damn - had a mishape playing fiveaside football this week resulting in a fractured eye socket. Thankfully no damage to eye and seeing specialist on Wednesday to decide whether I need surgery.

Don't think I'll be playing football for a whilst but would like to keep riding. Thinking of buying a bell super 2 helmet for some additional protection whilst riding. Any other thoughts on what would be an option for further protection?

Cheers

Broke my cheekbone road racing (don't do it kids, it's dangerous) and have one of those on order for King and Queen of the Hill. Did Mayhem in just a normal helmet though and it was fine.

They did check all my eye movements too - luckily the bone maybe fractured but nothing has moved and it should all just fix in in time. Great bruises though...
