Rachel Atherton has to be nailed on for the ladies crown.

What about the mens? Gwin obviously is massive favourite, but could we see Minaar / Gee pipping him?

I think the Martians have a better chance considering their superior technology.

Oh THAT worlds....
Yeah I'd agree with you. Minnaar or gwinnie for sure though Miami Bryce is on fire at the moment and I'd love to see him do well. Maybe peaty as his kit is so bling.
Rachel has to get the ladies.

Bit pedally and braking bump-fest rather than full on gnarly rocks and roots. I'm gonna hedge my bets and put my £10 on Emmeline and Gwin, hoping that will make Rachel and Gee come home in stripy jerseys.

No idea about the 4X though, but it'd be silly to bet against Beerten, unless gambling on a mechanical.

Definitely Gwin.

Or Minnaar.

But then Gee has been looking good.

And so have Josh and Peaty.

And we all know Hill has got the potential.

But Brook will be feeling confident.

And Blenki looked good in practice.

But Spagnolo does well in the mud.

And Troy must be straining at the leash after his lay off.

Oh, and Mick Hannah does well on the less techy tracks.

So definitely one of them... or someomne else. Excited anyway! Shame they don't cover the qualis live for worlds.

UK Extreme. It's a shame Hart isn't racing as it's was pissing it down last year for the champs, that man can handle the sop.

Internet.

Check Dirt and Pinkbike for links to the feed, or direct on Redbull site (not always easy to find).

Try a few different links if it doesn't work straight away.

Peaty for one final hurrah so he can retire on a high.

He's retiring, right?

Can't see Peaty pulling this one out of the bag sadly, going to be a good days racing I reckon. Really difficult to put a finger on who's gonna take this one!

Sick Mick fastest in seeding.
Rach Atherton has an injured shoulder so just rolled out of the start hut today.

Should be good!

Rachel for the win - despite injury (remember when her finger was knacked and she just put foam on her bar)? Hardcore!!!

Gwin I'd say but I don't want it... Minnaar/Bryceland I want!

Patriotic and Fantasy League considerations aside, it'd be really great to see Sik Mik or Sam Hill win.

Actually Mick's in my FL team anyway.

🙂

Gutted for Hart. Got stuck in the airport due to a strike and had to fly home. It's absolutely awesome here, first world champs visit. Peaty didn't disappoint earlier, massive cheers from the crowds. Hannah was absolutely flying. Massive respect to the riders with this course. Proper gnarly and in the wet too

I reckon the only sensible thing to do is to not call it. Should be a great race though!
