[#2944199]

What do you think the chances of getting a soft lyrik spring in Bristol by tomorrow?

Have got my new lyriks fitted this week and they feel a tad firm (with medium spring). I'm 69kg

I'm off to les arcs on friday afternoon

maybe a round trip to tftuned is in order?

yea.. just rang around and everyone was saying tftuned. Might have to finish early and go get one. I got a mechanic to do the mission control damper mod

I weigh 73kg naked and the med spring felt a bit firm over the mega week. Would have preferred the soft spring with the ability to play with the compression settings a bit more.

How did the mod help with plushness?

have just spoke to tftuned and the guy there was extremely helpful. Said he was around the same weight as me and ran a medium. He said id' probably need a medium in les arcs because of doing DH.

He also didn't recommend the mod! (might have to get that changed back)

tf seemed to suggest the mod removes low speed damping completely but that site says otherwise

I need to have a play tonight

I've had two lyriks and both were sticky as hell 'til I had the bushings resized. The first one was appalling, it simply wouldn't move on small stuff! After that they both lovely. I'm 72kg and I wouldn't want a soft spring (I thought I did 'til the bushings were done though.

I can't compress the fork fully in the carpark but I can if I hit things really hard/land badly on the trail. I'd take it for a ride to see if the spring suits to be honest!

I've got a medium spring on mine (85ish kg) simply for the Alps (Morzine). I ran it with a firm which is more appropriate for my weight in the UK but it was waaaay too harsh in Morzine which is a high speed and rough. I have to run it with a fair bit of LSCD in the UK to stop it diving.

No idea what Les Arcs is like.
