anyone own a non popular bike.....
or a unique one.....show and tell please..
i dont think my sabbath september is that common but it is lovely 😉
I have a 456 which from the thread about brands you'd never buy doesn't seem that popular.
I ride an old Kona........fast to avoid the stones being thrown at me by nichemongers.
i own part of one ...it must be unpopular you sold me most of it 😉
Raleigh Mtrax bought new in '98. Though I expect it to be retro cool any day now.
Don't know if this counts but I haven't seen another online apart from team riders' bikes . . . Tazer VP FRO, No 3 of 100 . . . love it!! 😛
Used to own a Saracen Zen. It were ace! Cracked the seat tube running not enough seatpost in the frame so had to skip it 🙁
Love the Intense tiny tazer, one of those bikes that just looks right!
I ride a Marin...
Seemed fast enough downhill in the alps.
I have Saracen, Raleigh, another Raleigh (frame, needs building again), Marin, Claude Butler, all quite uncool but really like them all.
Have Yeti, Coppi and Rondelli to regain some street cred.
Also have no space in garage and other half who thinks getting a cross bike is a bad idea. Tempted by a Dawes to complete to the line up of uncool bikes...
I have a Salsa Moto Rapido. Never seen another one and only heard of them being discussed a couple of times. Even has Whyte forks for extra specialness 😀
I have a saracen Kili flier. Full carbon merida frame, brilliant bike.
I used to own 3 Gary Fishers 😯
Mantra,Maxlight Pro,Trance & an Inbred 29er
Is that lot unpopular enough for you .... 😕
jase, very nice indeed that mate.......what is it.. 😉
I have a club roost xc4 which I think is a great bike
Cube AMS 125.
Getting more popular but not many about when I got mine.
Don't even see them in mag tests.
Seems a good bike as well.
there can't be that many Singulars away from here
Amongst others I own a 69er Gary Fisher with rigid forks, a rigid 69er 456SS (possibility of a singlepeed there), a Scott Octane and a Marin Wool Fridge (or sumfin) singlespeed with DH Mud tyres and Manitou Blacks. Lovely!
Rock Lobster Team Tig SL (It even has SRAM hubs)
And a Raleigh Amazon commuter
Mav ML7/5Light, brilliant ride and climbs better than just about any other full suser
You've ridden just about every other full susser then???

DO believe the hype. I've ridden loads of different full sus bikes over the years, certainly examples of just about every suspension design. Mavericks go uphill like they have no right to, better than anything else!
Here's my old one, now owned by mtbmaff of this forum...
[double post]
I have a sarcin (innit) Killi Racer or might be Flyer - I can't remember - in magnesium, bought off Ebay as NOS frame with no paint/branding etc for £40 which everyone tells me will break immediately. It's quite fugly with massive flattened down and top tubes, but weighs 3lbs for the frame and is a very compliant ride. I've been racing it three years and it's still going strong.
I also have a Titus Switchblade which is similarly quite fugly but again is a great ride - on the fly suspension adjustment from 3.7 to 5.5 inches 8). I've never seen another in the UK and can't imagine there are too many around as the frame would have been nearly £2k in 2003.
Now has decent saddle at correct angle, decent stem and Middleburns.
