We do this for fun, yes? If you're having fun, you're on the right bike

I started riding when 1 bike was used for everything, my small zaskar frame with big forks always worked well. As long as you are having fun on whatever bike you have who cares? If your bike choice lessens the enjoyment of a ride it's time to add to the collection ๐Ÿ˜€

Hahahaha nice xc bike. My road bike can go faster than an I can make it go so is that being overbiked too?

I totally agree with Jedi, plus: Being overbiked is having fun, being underbiked is crashing

The only reason I have an expensive bike with big forks and brakes is so I can look down on the mincing gayboys on their fagcycles.

Crashing is also fun if you can manage it properly. It's good to feel right on the edge of the bike's capabilities as often as possible.

Definitely over-biked at the moment, but sometimes you need something to slow you down on the hills. I have found that for a lot of what I ride a lighter, less bouncy bike is just as quick though, I just need to own one....

I do agree with that too, but too much crashing begins to get tiresome, not to mention painful.
