Silverfish's website doesn't seem to show any Evil products now.

I'm not sure, but I see you can now buy direct from Evil EUsite, and that includes some discount. Maybe they're in a transition period of moving to direct sales? That said, still lots of LBSs selling them.

Luismi at Evil has helped me out so many times in a timely fashion with warranty and spare parts. Silverfish on the other hand.....

He has just emailed confirming they have stopped dealing with Silverfish

As a general question how are etc Evil bikes now? I though the 'issues' of faults were mostly a few years ago and mainly sorted now?

Are the bikes still that bad?

I've had my Insurgent for a few months now - received support from both Silverfish and Evil direct - no problems at all. Neither of those issues were really issues though - after advice and spare hangers etc for my trip to the Alps.

Have a look on MTBR and PinkBike - there are very few unhappy people on those pages. Apparently the frames are now built in the same factory by the same people as Santa Cruz.
