I found that pretty hard going. Started near the back and walked most of the first hour. Part down to a rider crashing in the first few hundred yards and the huge walking cue at the first turn off.
Once the 50/100km split came it was great.

I was going to do it, but I was put off by its terrible reputation for calf tattoos. I mean, what are they for… 😉
