This is self inflicted.
I put a white saddle on a daily bike cos it looked nice.
It gets super grubby in two days.
Other than putting a darker colour on/not riding it/ just seeing what colour it ends up is there a trick I'm missing? Daily washing is not happening ๐Ÿ™‚

Baby wipes are your friend.

Good knows what they do to a baby' s arse, but they are great for cleaning grips, saddles, bar tape etc.

Frowns. ๐Ÿ˜€

White is not an acceptable colour for a saddle, unless it's a Turbo, or in truly exceptional circumstances, a Rolls.

Really, some people.........

The white charge spoon I have on my Swift seems to just wipe clean(!) and still looks very much white two years on.

White grips on the other hand, well, let's just say that I shouldn't have believed people on here that they don't look crap after one rider ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

I found that GT85 cleaned up the wife's white saddle very nicely.

My Ifly always cleans up well, no matter what the conditions are like. My spoon is pretty good too.

I've got white grips top...but only because I wanted the Renthal super soft ones and they only come in white.

Just stop caring about what shade of brown/yellow it ends up. Job done.

Swarfega works nicely and make your hands clean too.

Just so long as the white saddle is accompanied with white grips, so they both go a funny colour together.

I'd be very suspicious of a well used bike with a perfectly white saddle.

Clean it, sell it, buy a black/dark saddle.

Lol. It's a white/green bel air I liked as the bike's mainly white with green flashes on the black Rebas and black finishing kit/brakes. I've added green grips and have green hoses/ outers to add.
My fault for being a tart and as I say, self inflicted. :). It looks very nice when clean.
Lack of daily wash is obviously (?) the bike not me. Bike gets washed weekly (daily rider).
Thinking about it I think I've heard the baby wipes tip before. I'll get some and see how it goes.
Saddle may well become black soon!
