Heading back to Whistler in July (yay).

Where to stay?

Happy to hire bikes each day and self-guide, don't need a package deal with guiding etc but would consider it if anyone has any stellar recommendations or they're particularly flexible.

Cheers 🙂

We stopped here last July, can't fault it.
Five minute walk to town, bikes kept inside, no problems.

VRBO is the main site for searching self catering accommodation.  I've stayed with a bike in the AAva and seemed okay (although it was BCBR so bikes everywhere....) otherwise I think the hotels depend on price. I seem to recall some sort of special offer with the Hilton and Bike storage but can't recall details.

Bear Tracks: Great chalet-style hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the centre.

Cheers, folks.

Have actually stayed with Bear Tracks (Chalet Luise) a number of years ago and the pancakes were excellent 🙂

I like the adara hotel, right in whistler village. Haven’t booked yet but going again (4th time) in September

Last couple of years we have stayed in Painted Cliffs at the top of the upper village. Decent size, well equipped, pretty cheap and relatively quiet. We had a neighbour for one whole weekend! Buses run every half an hr and you can put 2 bikes on them which is handy after a good days riding.
