Have just booked a last minute day off tomorrow and was considering a few hours around Whinlatter. I was wondering if the trails are all iced up yet?
I know theres better riding to be had in the area but for ease and simplicity, Whinlatter seems to be a good idea.

Any input appreciated.

It froze in the lakes last night, looks like there's a bit of snow on the tops aswell.

Cold again tonight.

It'll be frozen pretty hard with some icy puddles. The bogfest dog walk paths at the bottom of the hill are pretty frozen.
Ideal.
