I've just had my Cane Creek rear shock serviced and about to install it on my Orange Four but was wondering if I installed it either way round would it make a difference ?
What's the general census ?

Thinnest end towards the wheel, minimises the unsprung mass is the reasoning, that’s what they and bike are designed to but it won’t be a complete disaster the other way around
