I recently purchased a Cube Stereo 140 Super HPC TM 27.5, which I would like to convert to tubeless. However, I'm not sure which bits and bobs I need to do so (tubeless valves, sealant & rim tape - anything else?). Is there a kit I could buy?
The bike components are as follows:
Front Tyre: Schwalbe Hans Dampf Kevlar 2.35, TrailStar, Tubeless Easy
Rear Tyre: Schwalbe Rock Razor Kevlar 2.35, PaceStar, Tubeless Easy
Rims: DT CSW EM 2.7 straightpull wheelset, 15QR/X12, 584x25C tubeless-ready rim
gorrila tape, some valves and some stans
valves, sealant, and tape pretty much covers it.
Might need an inflator. But track pump can work too. Or a CO2 canister to seat the bead , then empty out and fill with track pump again as apparently sealant doesn't like CO2
+1 for gorrila tape cheap and works a treat. there are a couple of youtube clips too.

This.
(plus a compressor!)

I've done the gorilla tape thing, but always end up going back to ghetto, with a split tube.
Have had a right mare sometimes, trying to get them up first time, but never had an issue using a split tube as a liner.
I have the same wheels, and bike, coolbeanz.
19 3M crossweave tape also does the job very well. See ebay.
clean the rim thoroughly with IPA, 3 runs of 3M tape stretched nice and tight and no bubbles, stans or SS valves, stans goop and they'll go up no problem.
anyone tried the aldi sealant? much cheapness but is that false economy ?
Ghetto split tubes for me too.
those DT rims will go up fine with just tape.
