Likely going to Betws-y-Coed next week 😁. If I’ve got time to hit one trail, which should it be: Penmachno or Marin Trail?

I like 'em both. Machno's quite pedally at first (do loop 2 first, then loop 1 - the pedalling then the payoff - but the pedalling's worth it). Marin's also pedally (lots of fire road) but is also excellent when it kicks in.
Machno's more "wales".

Only got time for one?
The Marin. It's next to town, has new shiny bits and it's worthy of a pilgrimage - it's a proper bit of history and it's fun.
Prefer Penmachno, personally. It feels much more natural and has a few bits that are just outstanding. So I'd save that for another time.
