what kind of pots are you planning on taking?

Id say a pot with frying pan lid set and the whisperlite gives you a bit more versatility than the jetboil on it's own. BUt then Ive never owned a jetboil.

The Jetboil should be more efficient and the weight savings in carrying less fuel would therefore make it the better option? Either way, do you have a pot cosy? That saves a lot of fuel.

I cant say that I have a pot cosy. I like the idea, just never ever thought about making one.
