I've used Halfords stuff and some posh bike specific stuff (Stendec I think) that cost twice as much. Both contained the same ingredients and worked in exactly the same way.
Keep it away from your rotors!
I use the cheapest I could find on Ebay.
If you buy the bike stuff you'll pay a fortune and it's all the same, try a dress maker upholstery website

Mine comes from the pound shop, smells just the same as some far more expensive brands.
Toolstation for silicone lube, chain lube, brake cleaner etc etc...
Around a 3rd the price of identical bike-specific stuff.

What's the difference in use and performance between teflon ( TF2 type) and silicon spray?

Wd40 do one which seems readily available. Any of them should be good for stations. I spray it on a rag well away from the bike as it seems to migrate to the disks.
It's not all the same mind... Like, I had some fork juice, and it's thicker than the cheap halfords stuff I normally use. But the fork juice isn't anything special either, it's some sort of glazing product relabelled for bikes.

Fork oil or most chain lubes will do the job well too. Though ime fork oil doesn't last long. The main downside with a silicon aerosol is it's easier to spray it places you don't want it.
I think mine's Draper, but WGAS, they're all pretty much the same <flicks v's at Northwind 😉 >, especially if you're just spraying stanchions with it
So what is the difference between Teflon and silicon sprays?
When it's super muddy I spray my bike all over (apart from the brakes) with this, it's excellent for stopping the mud from sticking (I don't pay that price for it).
