I'm looking to buy a new rucksack for my bike to work. Needs to carry 15"laptop & change of clothes + comfortable & water resistant.

Any recommendations?

what about a Pannier? might be safer than on your back.

Kriega R35 has carried my kit for the last 3 years. R25 probably better sized though.

I'm a fan of Osprey stuff. Probably more choice if you use a regular rucksack and a waterproof liner.

Never use as Osprey personally but taken a good look at them before look like an excellent riding pack but not sure if they are up to commuting duties personally; as in they seem too light weight and not ultra durable as is usually required for commuting.

Ortlieb make solid commuter backpacks.

I like the pakuma bags - they have a laptop compartment.

I've heard very good things about the Crumper rucksags. No idea if they are waterproof enough but they are certainly strong/spacious/comfy.

I use a Deuter TransAlpine pack for bike guiding. Would work well for commuting, about the right size for what you want. Has an integrated waterproof cover.
